Ah, but do you prefer the modern version or the original one?

I have a -64 club bass. Got it ridiculously cheap and it's getting restored as we speak.
Here it is next to an Italian cousin.

I'll join in if I may :)

My 1967 Verithin, which I bought in 1988. It was the first bass I ever owned and I doubt I'll ever part with it, since it's exactly as old as I am.

Very nice, and complete with pick guard, too. Have you registered it with Steve Russell's excellent site..? Your only bass, or is it 'that special one', for the quality recordings..? Any particular style of playing..? B)

Anyone have any informed ideas about how much this might be worth? I have inherited it and am looking for the best price. No scratchplate and a few minor dings, also I am guessing the electrics for the active bass boost might need some attention, but it makes a noise without. Its apparently a 5000 1b although that doesn't mean a lot to me it might to someone else.
