Pow_22 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Ive been loving the sound from my new rig recently. Its an old Sound City B120 valve head through a Fender bassman 2x15. Love the sound im getting but for some reason im gassing after the Marshall 2x15 ive seen for sale on here and really want to try it with a VBA400. Thing is i really DONT need it, i have a lovely rig that sounds great and just the right size. Is there a cure for un-needed GAS other than buying? Someone talk me round, my rig is fine and i dont need to change! Quote
stinson Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Be strong brother, it will pass. I've had massive GAS for a new rig recently but realized that my current rig is absolutely great. For now GAS has passed. Quote
NJW Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 The cure is to get off this forum and keep busy doing something else!] The cure is no fun. Quote
icastle Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Well, if your current rig is reliable and producing the sort of sound you want, why take the risk of changing your rig? You'll only end up as so many others who spend £1000's and still never manage to find that elusive sound that they are after. Quote
charic Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Comment on the for sale thread and don't look again for a week. Works for me Quote
Mr. Foxen Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Using only one amp at a time is for the weak. Quote
