BigRedX Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Really nice looking Staccato MG Bass. Unfortunately it appears to be in Japan so there's going to be international shipping and import taxes to add to the price... :-( Quote
Mr H Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Reminded me of this clip from The Tube, featuring a Staccato bass, a Staccato guitar (momentarily) and - bless 'im - Mitch Mitchell... Quote
BigRedX Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 Thanks for post that Mr H. Nice to see these instruments in action. Wayne, I didn't really image in would be your style. However it's certainly mine. If I had the cash spare at the moment, I'd be considering making this bass an exception to my "no more 4-string basses" rule. ray57, because the tuners are at the bridge the string run angle at the head is less critical than normal. However if I was going to buy I'd be asking questions about the E string nute, and the G string bridge saddle (which worries me more). Quote

Apart from the news of Pat Townshend's passing the website doesn't look as though it's been updated in a long time. However I've sent them an email so we'll see... Quote
