secretsquirrel
I've already got one of these as a backup to my lovely Staccato rig but as was browsing a few music store sites yesterday I came up with this: http://www.gak.co.uk/en/tc-electronic-bc50...-amp-head/50706 That's seriously good value for anyone looking for a powerful complete rig (and although heavier than the rh stuff the weight is nothing really trust me!) I haven't seen anyone mention this on here, thought I'd bring it up!
xgsjx
I looked at the price of the head & thought pah, but as a package that's some good deals.
escholl
£750 for two 410's and a BH500 head?!? almost makes me wish i was in the market for a second rig lol.

allighatt0r
I'm very tempted... I just gave them a call and they have three of the heads in stock, and the guy i spoke to said they'll re-evaluate the deals when they're gone...
allighatt0r
Quick question for everyone: what sort of difference is there between the 210 and the 212? Would it be best to have a matching pair or one of each? Cheers!
xgsjx
Always best to have a matching pair so you know what sound you're gonna get. Different drivers can result in unpredictable sounds from venue to venue.

Tops & subs on PA are different from mixing cabs. Tops are directional & the Xover should only be putting mid range & treble to them whereas Subs are usually non directional. My guitarist bought the head + 210 + 212 package and he brought it to rehearsal last night, so I played through it. I'm well impressed. The cabs were lighter, or at least easier to carry than my RS210, and sounded really good, very powerful. To think I spent just over £1000 on the RH450 and a single RS210 two years ago!!! (I'm very happy with them, but this is really good).
dannybuoy
Looks like a bigger uglier RH450 wearing an Ashdown amp sleeve.
Musicman20
Seriously cheap rigs! I think TCs main sales is in the RH/RS range, so maybe this larger range didnt work out? The setup with the 2x10 for free is cheaper than most modern combos!

allighatt0r
Well, I'm fed up as I haven't received my TC Electronic stack yet. I ordered late Monday night expecting it to be shipped Tuesday morning with next day delivery for Wednesday. It turned out on Tuesday morning they don't actually have stock of the head (despite saying they had "2 in stock" of the full stack product on the site), and they have no definitive ETA of the head. I am cheesed off, and will be calling the guy every day until I get a proper answer of when it will arrive. Seriously considering buying from somewhere else, but guitarguitar are £40 less for the 212 stack than everyone else, and i've already bought the roqsolid covers and speakon speaker cables (which arrived yesterday!!!). ...sorry, rant over. At least I didn't pay extra for next day.... Edited July 28, 2011 by allighatt0r

There doesn't seem to be any colouration of tone which means itll show your basses characteristics nicely

GRAHAM SG1
Hope it works out for you. These look to be great deals.
I bought a TC Electronics BH500 with two 2x12s for £664 at Andertons in Guildford, great service, they got me the whole rig at very short notice . This is a big step up from my GK MB210/MBE115 rig in terms of tone, features and power . I have gigged it and my band mates were very impressed saying it drove them on harder as they could hear everything I was playing more than usual, this amp has some great features, the on boar tuner is excellent, the spectracomp, tweetertone, tubetone are nice but the real bonus are the presets, as easy as a car radio and great for selecting a different tone for different song styles, from hard rock to gentle blues with a push button, it also sounds fantastic with the two contour presets . This rig is extremely loud and articulate to my ears, as for weight, it is heavier than my GKMB rig but not too bad, the cabs are 43lbs each as opposed to 33lbs for the GKMB210, I just eat an extra shredded wheat the day of a gig !! These rigs are great value for the money
allighatt0r
Anxiously awaiting my amp. I called yesterday and the guy i spoke to said they had the head but not the cabs! (a complete reversal from last week! Grrr... ) But he then went on to say that he does have one BC212 so he could part ship (the head and one cab and then the other cab later on). So i said yes. Now i'm not sure if it's coming today or tomorrow!!! I'm not likely to order from guitarguitar again....
