ibanez sr 886

hey all, i am planing to put new pickups and wireing in my ibanez 886, really wanted to put EMG 45J pick ups in it but the exsisting ones are 5" long! which is longer than the EMGs.

so, what would you suggest? really want to bring this awesome 6 string bass back to life with a little upgrade!

These are the long, thin strip pickups, right? I seem to recall Bartolini doing a set of these, but I might be completely wrong.

I had a hell of a time getting replacements for my SR1205 and SR1206. I used EMG40s there, but they fit pretty well.
