Bankai Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 Would do a trade for an appropriate 410.
Oldman Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 How is the SP10 on a low 'B'? I can find no references to Frequency response on the Orange site.
Bankai Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 I have a 5 string but haven't used it with this cab before. I'll give it a go and let you know!
Bankai Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 I like. I did a comparison with the ashdown 115 cab I also have, and although the 115 unsurprisingly performed a bit better on that B, the SP210 was by no means poor! It sounds the same, if not better than the other 210 cabs I've had.
Oldman Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Appreciate the honest crit' thanks for taking the trouble.
Chest Rockwell Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 i do! but I got myself an SP212 to look pretty with my Orange TB (which you already sold) and Im in love with cos it's... great. anyway, free bump fer Orange love!
karlfer Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Put it on t'bay Bankai. I put my SP212 on, on Sunday night. I got offer from BC'er 10 mins after I put it on FEEBay. 10 mins after that, I got an offer on FEEBay. Nowt much for weeks then 2 in 20 mins. It's been removed from t'bay, on hold for a BC'er. Good luck fella, fantastic range. Karl.
rOB Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011
Why does nobody love Orange anymore.
I love Orange. Strong sound, super transportable. Sorry, don't need another cabinet though
Bankai Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) Buy this cab or a kitten will die. Edited October 10, 2011 by Bankai

Bankai Posted November 27, 2011 Author Posted November 27, 2011 Back from tour. Still no interest though sadly
Bankai Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) BLARGHHH BUY STUFF PLOX Now interested in part-exs with Ampeg/Orange 410s and Rickenbacker 4001s. Edited January 10, 2012 by Bankai
jackers Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 hey alex can you tell me about the orange sp cabs? I'm interested in the 212 version. I want to be able to take it to band rehearsals, but i dunno if it would be loud enough. I have read some varying reviews on them, some saying they lack power and they are more like 110s than 210s.
Bankai Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 If you run 600W into the SP210 and then 600W into an OBC210 and run them side by side you'd find that the proper 210 is louder. This is because with the SP210, you don't hear the second speaker as it is behind the first, what it does do though is seriously meaten up the overall sound so that the response you get is nothing like what you'd expect from a 1x10. I bought this when I was at uni as I needed something small and lightweight that could still be loud enough for proper gigs. And it is, I've used it without any trouble, especially if you're using a head that's 500/600W like an OBT, you'll find yourself having to turn down. Just remember this thing is tiny so you want to be raising it up a little otherwise you'll be playing to your feet.

Bass Addict Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Hey, would you swap a Ashdown Mag 300 Head and a Ashdown Mag 4x10 for the Orange SP210? Cheers
Bankai Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Hiya. I already have a head so wouldn't have any use for a second one, sorry!
Bankai Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Gentlemens of the internet, is 600W not enough? @)
