Tee Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) Sorry to start a thread on it, i know i should post in the courier one, but i fear it wouldn't be seen in time, as i need some advice/answers asap. If i was to have a bass shipped via DHL from the US to the UK, would it be DHL all the way? ie it wouldn't get handed over to Parcelfarce at some UK depot would it? Also, what does this mean for customs? I read somewhere that with some couriers like DHL, you get the goods first and the bill after the delivery, unlike Parcelforce who hold the goods and send you a bill first. Much appreciated Tee Edited February 29, 2008 by Tee Quote
BigAlonBass Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 I can't help with the query about the Customs costs, but my son has just had a set of customised mirrors for his car delivered from America, and it was DHL all the way to our front door. Quote
skywalker Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 DHL will bring it all the way. as will UPS, but they may possibly ask for payment on delivery. Normally items like this are "cleared" after delivery, so you may just get a bill afterwards, or you may not get a bill at all. Best of Luck Steve Quote
