It's in very good nick and I recently had it checked over by my technical man in the South West. Originally it would have been made in 2006-2007 or thereabouts. This is a real beast, quite big and heavy but with masses of power. There is one preamp (with switchable tube) and two 500W power amps. The back has 2 jack outputs and two dual jack/speakon outputs. So, as there are two power amps you can run up to two 4ohm cabs, four(!) 8 ohm cabs (4 Barefaced Compacts, anyone?!) or two 8 ohm plus one 4 ohm cab! This amp is LOUD. Used at a gig last night, I had the volume just below 3 (out of 10), that was plenty loud through a Barefaced Super 12T. Controls: gain, active/passive switch, preshape, tube switch, tube gain and blend, 12 band EQ with switch, rather good dual band compressor with separate high/low frequency controls and switch, loop switch, mute button and master volume. On the back there are various jacks and controls but my favourite is the control for the intensity of the lights on the front Also has a rather chunky and little used 6-button footswitch. With lights! There is one problem with it: one of the dual speakon/jack sockets is a bit fussy, it doesn't accept all speakon connectors (genuine ones seem to work fine, but my cheap copy doesn't). This socket takes a jack fine though and also the other jack/speakon is fine. Bought for £600, so will look to get back something close to that. This is a bit of a beast so collection from the south west or meet please. Interested in trades for amps, anything Markbass, TC Electronic, Genz Benz, Orange Terror Bass considered. Pics later!
