kedo
Ashdown ABMIII Amp with Covers and Footswitch with Ashdown Classic Neo Bass Stack and Bought from new less than one year ago Only gigged three times Custom made covers In new condition British/American made The rig comprises a 575watt ABM 500 EVO III amplifier head (into 4ohms) with an optional valve pre-amp. You can view the EVOIII at: http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.as...on=abm&ID=6 The Cabinets comprise a 1x15" (Neo 115h) Classic Klystron cabinet with power handling of 400watts and a 4x10" (Neo 410h) Classic Klystron with power handling of 1050watts. They are both 8ohm cabinets which give you 4ohms when used together. They have 'Speakon' and jack connectors and a horn control which can be set to low/off/high. The cabinets have a combined Union Jack/Stars and Stripes badge and I understand from Ashdown that the cabinets were made in the USA and assembled in UK. Included is the dedicated Ashdown ABM footswitch which controls various amplifier functions (Octaver, EQ, valve pre-amp and compressor). You can view the footswitch at: http://shop.ashdownmusic.com/product.php?pi=2428 You can view the 115T at: http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?ID=186 and the 410T at: http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?ID=187 I had padded covers made for the cabinets and the amplifier which are included in the sale. I bought this rig without thinking and find that, as I am getting on a bit, I can't really transport them on my own. They are less than a year old and represent Ashdown's top of the range Neodymium speakers. They are in new condition and have genuinely only been gigged three times and always treated with care. They have padded custom made covers. I think Ashdown recently withdrew the Neos from their range but they are superior to any current Ashdown speakers on offer. I have thought long and hard about this sale because the sound of the rig is immense. I have mostly used it with a Custon Shop Jazz and it is fantastic, but I really can't handle the size and weight any more. I am going 'lightweight' but don't expect to get the fantastic percussive depth and punch of the Ashdown rig, and will probably pay a lot! The sound of this has been admired and coveted by bassists in other bands. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I am hoping to get £800 which represents about half the new cost. Edited July 13, 2011 by kedo
