Mike Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Yes, the Birdy stamp of approval is important in any bass I buy. Has he signed the headstock, Richard?
Steve A Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I'm going to start one of two new threads: 1) What's the shortest time anyone has held onto a new bass or 2) What's the longest anyone has owned a bass for.
richardd Posted March 1, 2008 Author Posted March 1, 2008 Okay, answer to question one, Birrdy signed a piece of loo roll ,ref Mike. question two in my case Steve this is it 2 weeks, fingers crossed. we are Bass player as you know, it's whats expected

[/quote] Q1 - I've owned a bass but never had it in my hands and sold it on via a 3rd party - does that count ? I did once own a 69 Precision for a day !! 2 - In my case I owned a Jaydee for a couple of years !!
bass_ferret Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 You guys are turning over gear so fast you make Homer look like a slowpoke.

martthebass Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Jim, I expect this to come into work one day so I can play a cak handed riff on it. No better scrub that, then I'll want one. Thumb bass, DJ5 and MIA Precision anyone?
