I thought I'd publicise this, as it may be of interest to the double bass fraternity. I'm going to head down to see this as it's only about 5mins walk for me, hopefully the sun will be shining!

Its not really my cup of tea so i doubt ill be going (to be honest i dont like Jazz at all and ill be working during that time ) but its also only 5 mins from me. Where abouts are you?

There is also the Whitecross street party coming up this month, plenty of live music and entertainment there are well.

For anyone into Michael Janisch - a friend of mine got him over to record the bass on his album recently, it's sort of a cross between Jazz and Folk so well worth checking out if you're into that style!
