sticker
Hello , newbie here asking for some feedback on my first outing recording bass parts myself , Its a Bossa Nova , all guitars and Bass recorded by me over some percussion loops . I used an Aria amb 50 acoustic Bass straight into the computer with a bit of light compression on a VST during mixing . I've been a rhythym guitarist for donkeys years but only really beginning to play bass so please be gentle with me Thanks Stu Sticks Bossa
paul, the
Sounding good, Stu, some tasteful playing, ought to get yourself an upright. It's a lovely track too.
ShergoldSnickers
There's a gorgeous tone to the bass there Stu. It's got both depth and definition with enough meat on the low notes. As 'paul, the' mentioned, it's tastefully played and on a really smoooooth and polished track. Stick at it Stu and feed us some more... sticker
Wow ! Thanks for the positive feedback , I really wasn't expecting it as I say it was my first attempt at recording the bass on my own , so just fiddled with the onboard pre-amp until I got a sound I liked that seemed to suit the track . Ideally it would have an upright Bass on it ... Thanks fellas
