jampottt Posted July 13, 2011 Share Posted July 13, 2011 Hi Guys, This is my first post, so I thought it would be fitting to make it in the "Introductions" forum. I'm jampottt, an 18 year old musician from Middlesbrough in the North East of England. I'm a Grade 8 standard guitarist that fell into bass playing by accident, and ended up achieving my Grade 8 in bass also, on a budget (no named) bass guitar. The bass gathered dust for a few years, upon being asked to join a club band that play cover songs on the weekend to entertain drunken crowds. It pays nicely! Since joining, I've somewhat become passionate about bass playing, and have purchased a "Golman" Acoustic Bass Guitar for practicing, a Radial JDI box to use as my Bass Tone (God Damn I love that box) and am soon to be purchasing my first "real" bass as I'm calling it, as I'm going to pay a decent amount of cash (Looking at the Fender Jazz). Was sent here from another forum, and hopefully will be quite active, as I enjoy forum banter, Hopefully will be purchasing many things from the marketplace too! My bass playing hero is Billy Sheehan, I think he's incredibly talented, and I have a lot of fun learning Mr Big and David Lee Roth songs for the beautiful bass lines he writes. Hello Basschat.co.uK!
