Wispa was more of a modelling jobbie, designed to emulate an aero.
Whereas if you want vintage tube it would have to be Smarties, nothing else gets close. Quote

I didnt feel like throwing it away, so i decided to see if anyone actually wanted it. So now itll be off on its way to the one person who took it seriously.
As i say if you were being serious i think the extensive specs list was possibly a bit overkill Anyway i think we were really taking the piss out of ourselves more than your ad. wateroftyne Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 A bit OT, but.. has anyone tried deep-fat-frying one of these? Quote

thatgrantboy Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 I've been stripping mine back down to the bare finish this past weekend, orbital sander and a dremel came in handy to cover the large surfaces and the smaller, less reachable areas. I've since been applying Danish oil to give it a warmer look and feel. Quote

Fozza Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I've just bought one of these. Has anyone got any suggestions on what strings would be best on it? Quote

rasher80 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Is it left handed? I've been after one of those for ages! Quote
Dad3353 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I can only see one end in the photo, does it really have the other end (was fitted as standard, sometimes 'go missing', and hard to replace...). Just checking; looks interesting (pity about the colour; I would have preferred natural maple, but b*ggars can't be choosers, right..?). PS: I assume that the hard case is included, of course..? Blademan_98 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Bonkers the lot of you That's why I fit in so well..................... Quote

Algae Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 To be honest I think they are over rated. If you want a real vintage classic with extreme rarity value you need a seventies dark chocolate toffee crisp bar, the ones in the blue wrappers. Now that was something. I would swap one of my basses for one of those. Quote
