ash
Hi I'm looking for a bit of help, I'm having a bass made for me and I need to know the dimensions of Status 5 string bass necks, I've owned both Shark and Groove basses and love the string spacing, width, shallow depth and profile. Its a long shot but could some kind soul send me some accurate measurements please? What I need is nut width, width at 12th and body joint area, profile (never been able to work that out would it be a shallow D profile?), depth and string spacing at nut, and bridge. I'd really appreciate any help I can get with this.
Fat Rich
Status website, click on "Information" then "Specifications" and you'll find the current specs. Don't know if they're the same as the Groove or Shark but I think it's only the really old Strata and Series II (early 80s) that had a chunky neck. ash
Thanks, how would you describe the neck profile? What shape would it be, I always felt they were quite shallow.
