Small question regards DD's Ordinary World

Practice last night me guitarist seemed to think I was playing something wrong in this song.

Basically that little bridge between the end of the first chorus and the second verse. On the original recording I'm not sure Mr Taylor plays anything at all, but I've got into the habit of playing a C#, E, F#.

The guitarist said he was playing D's and A's for that part and that I was wrong. What I play seems to work against the recording I've got. Maybe I should just play nothing.

Any pointers any one please?

Played it over a few times just now (even got the Mrs to check, as I thought perhaps I may be going tone deaf) and what I play is spot on.

So ignore this please.
