BTGAndy
Can anybody recommend a good rosin for EUB's?
Bassworm
I used Carlsson rosin on both my EUB and 'proper' bass (Same bow). Got it from here.. OutToPlayJazz
Depends on the strings... If you're on full DB strings like spirocores, go for a pot of Nymans rosin. Much less white dust all over the bass & instant grip after just one or two strokes of the bow over the block.
chrkelly
There are two types - sticky and powder Sticky (nymans, carlson, pops etc) is the most used. Gets the string vibrating instantly, good grip, more volume(?) Powder (artcraft no.6, violin rosin etc) requires better technique but bow changes are less scratchy and gives an overall smoother sound. It's all down to personal peferance though most people I know use Nymans or Pops.
