Barefaced Dubster - serious dub & a heavybass lightweight

Got my Dubster cab yesterday from Alex at Barefaced, top feller indeed. Tried it at rehearsal the same day and the Earth moved a micro degree off its axis! The drummer who plays a TD12 through his own PA (Loud Reggae Sound system stylie..i.e. loud drummer) said he thought his teeth came loose. First impressions is this is the holy grail of reggae cabs for me. I have to admit to have had some time yoyo'ing between neo speakers and back to heavyweights but this thing shifts some serious air and is neo. My Orange Terror bass was on 1/3 of its vol, low gain too and the bass just rode above the rest of the sound as heavyweight dub should be, no treble but defined and not wooly...but mostly phat. This cab is incredibly light too, something that i was also sceptical about regarding tone but again it's a bonus and it defies all the scrambled logic i believed - top marks to Barefaced, you've made a reggae cab - Heavy bass & a lightweight carry (that'll keep the Mrs happy). :)

How does it sound playing jazz or metal?

Edit: I'm aware that it has little trebble; I'm not really a treble kinda guy.[/quote]
I don't play metal and my jazz certainly has no insurance :) , i guess you could play anything through it but its gonna sound bass heavy like a reggae/dub feel - hence its name i suppose :) . The mids cut through nice which gives the cab good definition in the deep range so you don't get that muffled low bass where every note sounds the same. I would rate this cab for dance music bass to i.e. Dubstep, Drum & Bass & fx etc
