jb_330i
Hi all Just joined this site, thought I'd say hello Trying to fulfil a lifelong ambition of playing live - after many years of stringing a few chords together with guitar I recognised it wasn't going to happen for me so have just bought a Bass and will start lessons to see how I get on with that. I am borrowing a friend's 200W Marshall but it's just too big & heavy for practise at home.... what I'd really like is a smaller amp with headphones and the ability for me somehow 'mix' songs so I can play along to them...any suggestions greatly appreciated. Anyway - hello once again! Cheers James
Hobbayne
Hello mate! Have you came across the Vox heaphone amp? you plug it in your bass and put your headphones on and jam along! BTW, what bass you got??
GBass
Welcome! Yeah with the Vox-amp you can also plug a mp3 in and jam along to some songs.

Blademan_98
+10000 on the headphone amp / modeller things. The VOX is the best known (and fairly cheap) but there are others you can get. On eBay you will get a second hand Korg Pandora that gives you a beat to play along with.
