cycrowave
anyone ever attempted/completed a holoflash finish? Im doing some research at the moment, what a minefield! One of the coolest finishes going in my opinion, though I fully appreciate it isnt for everyone..
Ou7shined
Funny you should ask. My mum (of all people) was around this weekend and was looking at some of my creations and asked me if I'd ever thought of doing a hologram finish - I don't know why she mentioned it. Here's a rather simple way of doing it that I found. There's a couple of galleries here too.
cycrowave
yes i saw that tutorial, but after some forum trawling I'v discovered that what you really want to be using is heat transfer foli (apparently thats what the factories use). Makes sense really, as using adhesive plastic will cause horrible seams and may peal after a while. however it seems like holographic heat transfer foil is quite hard to find...
