Jazz 24 pup replacement

Hey people. I recently bought a Fender Jazzbass 24, tis a great bass but one thing is, the pups are NOISY!!
Can u recomend a set to replace these Seymore Duncans. Are pickup easy to swap over??

Also iknow that single coil pups can be noisy until cancelled out by selecting both pups. Are all J pups single coil/??

And yes, 4 blobs of solder. Even I managed it.
