'93 warwick fortress one, 4 string in trans red finish. cracking bass with the more desireable slim wenge/wenge neck. bit of buckle rash on the back but hey its 18 yrs old! still looks as good as new on front! at some point a previous owner to me has replaced the pups and circuit for SD basslines and SD preamp (bass/mid/treb - with bass/treble on a stacked pot) and subsequently had a battery compartment routed into the back as no room inside control cavity for the battery with this preamp in it. plays like a dream and i love it but i do have a '94 fortress one also and that one is going nowhere !!

the 'wick would come in padded gig

£400 shipped (to UK)

would definately prefer collection (i'm up in Sunderland) but will ship if necessary

Trade interest for my Dean? It's up on here. I'm thinking Jazz 24 my way and perhaps some cash and the Dean your way? Let me know if you'd be interested.

dont understand why! these early 'wicks are great value and great basses! you'd be looking at around £2000 for one of these as a custom shop order these days!!

will entertain offers! maybe even a trade plus cash my way for a lower end bass (if something tickles my fancy!! ooher!) possibly even a trade for a markbass head or TC RH450 head??

Bargain! Nicest bass I have ever owned. Play nicer that any american P or J, hold there own easily against any other warwick. Wish this warwick down turn in the market would end, they are great great basses. Wenge neck and flamed maple body for only £400! If I didnt already have one I'd be all over it.

Of course I would be a bias opinion though.

Can't wait!!

I had a blue 5 string many years ago, but couldn't get on with the MASSIVE neck on it. Been looking for a 4 string ever since really. I love the shape of them.
