Hi guys,

I'm in financial hot water so I have to trim the heard. With that in mind for sale I have my Hofner club bass. It's a short scale and basically a violin bass but Les Paul sort of shaped. In as new condition, never hugged, rehearsed with once or twice and strung with Rotosound True bass nylon flats at the moment. I don't have any of my own pics but here is a link to tredders sale thread with pics http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...ofner+club+bass.

The bass has a great old school tone and being a short scale is super easy to play.

I traded a Jap 70s p for it and it owes me £450 but I need to sell fast so £300 seems a fair price? Hit me with sensible offers though. This bass has to go sharpish unfortunately.

Thanks.

Ash

Thanks for that :) it really is a lovely bass, just doesnt quite provide the thump my T-40, Stingray and Grabber do.

Answering you here =)

Would definitely trade for your Hofner...I love those basses. Had a chance to play a contemporary lately...god i fell in love!

if you dont have a hardcase, just snuggle it up in a (cheap) blanket and put it into a carton.
Works excellent!
Loose the strings too, so nothign will happen to the bass.

Sorry for jumping on this thread. I have this bass now but no longer need for the project it was intended for. Anyone interested inbox me.

Cheers
