Prime_BASS Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Takeshi Ueda from Mad Capsule Markets. Any hard rock metal/rap metal fan who is a bassist needs to listen to digidogheadlock and 4 plugs albums. Probably the only bassist I'm such a fanboy of that I actually want his signature bass. Quote
siggi Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Got bored reading the same names so : Tal Wilkenfield gets my first vote ( and Jeff Beck and Chick Corea would agree) while Gail Ann Dorsey also needs a mention ( and a certain Mr Bowie ) ha. Quote

molan Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 (edited)
Gotta agree with this.
The thing with Simenon was not only that he looked great in stills images but he just moved brilliantly on stage. I saw The Clash 7 or 8 times and they were such great live band, Strummer pumping crazily, Jones zipping back & forth (also looking ultra cool, and Simenon this brooding 'presence' on the left hand side of the stage just oozing cool and with that great left shoulder dip Edited August 27, 2011 by molan Quote
Mr Fudge Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011

+ 1000,00000,000000,000000 Prob a bit of Xanadu rehearsal to boot. I have had the pleasure of supporting The Blockheads 3 times and enjoying the company of and several beers with Norm at the end of the night. One of the nicest blokes I have ever met. I have spent a good few hours in his company and never talked basses, other than to get the headstock of my fave jazz signed by him. He is far too interesting and amusing to talk about basses with. Monz Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 For me it's Victor Wooten and MarloweDK Both are my bass heroes and cool as feck Quote
