Mr. Foxen Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Severely compromises the internal volume, so less low sensitivity, but with low Xmax drivers, you get more max volume displacement. It didn't really catch on, because it isn't a great plan. Think it might be a 4x12 anyway. Sunn made one like it. Would use for guitar. Quote
ficelles Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 (edited) A 4x15? Madness gone mad with an extra dose of madosity. Only someone with roadies would use something like that. Edit: I think Mr F is right though, judging by the width of that HH head it's maybe a 4x12... although those drivers are angled in of course... ficelles Edited July 28, 2011 by ficelles Quote

Marky L Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Ahh, I had a Fender cab very similar to this in the early 80's, IIRC it was a 4 x 12 with the drivers angled but I think they were all pointed inwards to sort of give a cone of sound. It was never that loud but it did look great, big silver cloth grille too. Quote
