It's truly excellent with bass but I picked up an Owen Gremlin off here a couple of weeks ago and it covers everything I've been using the loin for, but does it slightly better to my ears. If you're after a great low-med gain overdrive with a clean mix and a few other options - this is your pedal. I'd really like a gated fuzz, but a decent higher gain overdrive would be great also.
