Lozz196
I saw a band last night - The Peartree Bridge Family - and the bassist was using the old Fender Precision/Ampeg set-up. The amp was an old massive valve head - don`t know which model. He was playing through what I`m sure were an SVT 410HLE & SVT115. On it`s own, the bass sounded a bit "clanky" but in the mix - soooo much power and really filled it out nice, without ever booming or getting in the way of the guitar. It has to be THE classic bass set-up. Shame I can`t lift all that stuff anymore
