Hey

I've been reading about and apparently you can get three sets of hartke strings for £11! I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them!

Anyone know anywhere? :)

Cheers

I got this (5 string) off Ebay a while back. The EADGs were fine, the Bs were as dead as dodo.

There's another thread about this somewhere.

OK if you play 4s I suppose.

They were available on ebay but don't seem to be about now. At the price they were selling for it's likely that the distributors were disposing of remaining stock. It looks like a case of 'once they're gone, they're gone'.

I have some. I won them in the raffle at the SE Bash 2 years ago. You can have them for the postage plus a small donation to BC.

Edit: Sun am.

Just found them An unopened 3-pack of Hartke Xlight 4string sets. HSB 440 3P.

Nickel Wound>> Hex Core >> Long Scale

.040 >> .060 >> .075 >> .095

I bought some from a local music shop. Said shop no longer deals with Hartke so they don't do the strings either. Pack of 3 sets for about £20. They were SUPER light... far too light and although sounded mega zingy when 1st strung, that lasted about 3 hours.

You get what you pay for!

I've bought them from an ebayer seller a couple of times, for around about the price you mentioned.

Haven't seen him on the bay in a while.

I found them to be fine and for the price I had absolutely no complaint.
