Stealth Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I recently bought (after a 30 year lust) a Rick 4003. Its strung with strings that have coulred ball ends err green red yellow silver from memory. Anyone know what they are becuase the sound and feel just right ?.... Quote
chrismuzz Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 The only brand I know of that do multicoloured ball ends are D'Addarios. Unfortunately I can't say exactly which ones! Quote
Ben Jamin Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 +1 to the D'addarios, I don't know of any other brand that does them. I've got a 5-string Pro Steel set and it's brass for E, red for A, black for D and green for G - don't know if that applies to the Pro Steel set alone or the whole D'addario range though! Best of luck Quote

gsgbass Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I heard direct from D'Addario, they don't make Fender's strings. E-brass, A-red, D-black, G-green are D'addario across the board. No particular type or number style. Quote
Spike Vincent Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 D'Addario EXL Nickels have the coloured ball ends also. Quote
