buying pedals internationally and voltage issues

Has anyone bought pedald from america recently? What are customs like, do you get charge extra?
I'm looking to buy the Eden wdti from the states (as its cheaper) and use a uk 12v power supply, would there be any problems with that?

As long as you use the right power supply (ie AC or DC), 12v is 12v. No problems.

I can't comment on customs, though - it depends on the reported cost of the pedal.
