grahamd Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) Unique styling and great player with full range and quite an aggressive sound if you want from the 3-band eq and 18v active circuit. Its 34" scale. This is a lot of bass for the money! SPEC Body: Mahogany and dark walnut with flame maple top Neck: Mahogany and hard rock maple, neck thru-body Fingerboard: Indian rosewood Frets: 24 fat Hardware: Black Bridge: Heavy duty five saddle bridge, diecast machineheads Pickups: 2 x Ultra ABS4 Controls: 1 x stacked volume/passive tone, 1 x balance, 3 x active tone (bass, mid, treble), active/passive switch Finish: Trans satin red I'd like £200 firm as it is, collected from near Bristol, rather not post as have no case for it, but could possibly sort a box out for cost + postage Now accepting trade bait, lightweight cabs or high end comprerssors preferred cheers Edited September 17, 2011 by grahamd
Ghosts Over Japan Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 that price!!!! now thats a bargin on a lovely unique bit of kit!
Matt P Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 mmmm that is nice, what does it weigh and what's the balance like? Matt
grahamd Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) She comes in at 8lbs 10 or 11 on my bathroom scales and sits really nicely on the strap, as well balanced as any bass Ive played. Edited August 7, 2011 by grahamd
kurcatovium Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 What are all the controls? Description seems a bit out, since there are 4 single knobs, 1 stacked and 1 switch... Also the bridge looks like it has 5 instead of 4 saddles ;-)
dc2009 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 If I shift both my Dean and Trace anytime soon I'll be dropping you a PM, sah.
wookiee Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I'm intrigued... How about some soundclips, so we can all hear how this strange beauty sings?
grahamd Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 Hey Mauro thanks mate, hope you well. Wookie sorry dont have the tech for soundclips. Suffice to say the 18v circuit gives plenty of headroom for most of the classic tones, and as I mentioned before can crank out a Stingray like toppy aggressive sound if thats your thang
