JoeS
Yeah, I saw that on their website the other day. I'm in no position to buy but I was planning a trip down there while I'm back home in a couple of weeks anyway, so I'll have to go and see what they've actually got in stock. It'll be interesting to see if Chris is still trying to sell everyone that walks in the door a Fender 50s Precision when there's a couple of BG's or DD's hanging on the wall. martthebass
Seem expensive - Nearly £1200 for a DJ5?! Could get a decent 5 stringer for that Edited March 7, 2008 by martthebass
ashevans09
Not surprised TBH, they're being sold in SamAsh now...'twas only a matter of time.
Machines
It's good that they're branching out from predictable stock - but those prices aren't particularly competitive.
PauBass
For all of you interested in trying the Lakland basses at GAK, I went there this morning and they are receiving them tomorrow. At the moment they won't have any Joe Osborn, the distributor hasn't got any in stock and it will take a few weeks to have one in the shop. How do they compare to the Gallery? I was quoted £100 more than thomanns for a Duck Dunn, same price as GAK are doing it for. The BG at GAK is only about £60 more than Thomanns. I also paid £699 for my 55-01 from the Bass center a couple of years ago.
NickThomas
GAK are also pretty good when it comes to pricematching . I doubt they'd pricematch thomanns though , as they're an online store.
