Walker
Just looking at pedal cables - has anyone tried the Lava cable kits? http://www.lavacable.com/lava.html Be interested in your thoughts if you have. Thanks Chris
goblin
HOW MUCH?!?! I'd sooner stick to buying what I need from Maplin and other good electronics franchises and stick to being handy with the soldering iron! I've got two solderless leads and they've been the most unreliable ones I've ever used.
fxpedal.co.uk
We sell both George L's and Lava Cable. Since we've taken Lava Cable into stock, we are selling a lot more of them than George L's. The plugs on George L's are small. Those on Lava Cable are half the size! The quality of both kits is excellent but the smaller plugs and slightly lower price of Lava Cable is swinging it for most people.
PauBass
After having used both, George and Lava, cables I have settled for Lava's as I find them of better quality than George's, smaller plugs and I prefer the way the cable attches to the plugs, I've had problems in the past with George L's but never with Lava's. Walker
Thanks for that, it's the size that's doing it for me and the fact that a lot of people seem to say good things. Cheers
molan
I've also heard a lot of good things about Lava cables. Quite a few 'name' players in the States seem to use, and recommend, them.
