Mr. Foxen Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 When he gets a bit older, he's going to wish he got good at playing the sort of music girls his age like. Quote
crez5150 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 28 seconds for me..... then I had to go listen to some Kenny G. Quote

ThomBassmonkey Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 If he keeps going, he's going to end up a very talented and equally soulless musician, There's no denying that he's good, but his timing is off and he's lacking a good sense of groove. Typical "look how fast I can play", though he's so young it's probably the parents' doing this time. Quote
dannybuoy Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Not my cup of tea either, but still impressive - I bet Jaco and Victor Wooten weren't as good as that at his age! Quote

Pink" within the year and be playing that equally as furiously.....he can always come back to the bass. Quote

Prime_BASS Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Hopefully one day when I have kids, I'll get them started on bass at an early age. Although I do mimic others comments. That first section was unbearable, the rest I tolerated until he started do some finger picking, then had to stop watching when the solo came. Lots of unecerssary parts that made the whole thing sound disconjointed. I liked the close up of the Sax player. "worlds most frustrated saxophonist " Quote
Blademan_98 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 My daughters 12 and thankfully she is not that good at the bass...... She would only show me up Quote

KevB Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Immediately demonstrates to me why an instrument like saxophone works as a solo instrument and electric bass just don't. Quote
