Cyrene
Hi. Had my first step onto a stage last night. It wasn't with the rock/pop band I've been rehearsing with for the last 6 weeks though, this was a folk/open mic night at a well established club that takes place in the folk capital of the north east! Well, I know there's lots of support for folk music nationally and to be honest they do allow a wide range of stuff to be played. I never thought to myself a year ago, I'd be onstage performing duets of Wilco tunes on an acoustic with people nodding their heads in the audience. Nervous as hell, had to come up with some bass lines myself (as there aren't any tabbed!) and fluffed a couple of bars at the end of one tune, but what an experience. wateroftyne
Excellent! Nice feeling, isn't it? North-East of England, or Scotland?
Len_derby
Well done! There's no feeling quite like it is there? Got the bug now?
