bubinga5 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) Thoughts of bad hair cuts and image aside.. i gotta say i really dig this.. they are f***in TIGHT..these guys can play... i wouldnt even recognise this as a Brit cover.. I think Danny Saucedo is a fantastic bassist.. if you can play those licks, still smiling and blow your hair away at the same time, your ok in my book.. There is no doubt the singer is a great pianist and a great singer... yep the drummer is killing too.. they make for a killer rythm section.. they are a very good 3 piece... yes its pop, but its great great funky pop... more GAS for you Chris.. i havent seen a band like this who play like this in a while.. BB3000S Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) They are truly awesome indeed, though Danny Saucedo is an indepenent artist who has done some stuff with them this summer - the bass player is Henrik Linder. Here's the Dirty Loops myspace for some more: http://www.myspace.com/dirtyloopsswe Edited August 6, 2011 by BB3000S Quote
chardbass Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Yup, I'm already a big fan. It sounds good to my ears and fits in with my musical make-up (fan of slightly self-indulgent arrangements that groove) Quote
chardbass Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I'd love to see them at work in the studio as this sounds, to me, where all the fun is for them. Quote
joe_bass Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 These guys are great. That Lady Gaga cover is my favourite. Great slap line in the verse that hasn't just descended in to noise. Hopefully they will upload more soon. Quote
Stingray5 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Cheers for this, B5. Don't mind admitting I wasn't familiar with these guys but I'll certainly be checking out more of their stuff. Quote
steve-bbb Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 lovely id hate to bring up the dreaded 's' word but 1:16 anybody? i guess it must the exuberance of youth and all that jazz - but in the bigger picture... 9.8/10 because the trb sounds absolutley luuuuuuusssssh Quote
