stingrayPete1977 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 A while ago my case got really wet inside after being left outside open in what was gorgeous sunshine! Mistake. It got dried the best it could but I still had to put the bass in with it damp, As soon as I got home I took it out (20 mins max) and put the case to dry. Since then the grain has opened up a bit and only the area around the main playing area have smoothed back off a bit. EBS_freak has told me to use 1200 grit paper and finish with furniture polish so here goes, Whats a couple of grand if I wreck it? Quote

stingrayPete1977 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Panic over its all good and smoother than ones in the shops, Why dont they all do that? It took 2 mins as you can see from the time between posts! Bit nervous at first then got into it a treat rubbing all the colour off the edges the lot bit of polish on a dirty duster and it looks and feels the best it ever has in fact the Ray 4 is calling me...No I cant, There is nearly ten years of aged goodness on that one.
