Its a lovely lush sounding chorus, or wacky vibrato. Big metal case, mains powered (yikes - american two pin plug, plus "shaver adaptor" just like the old days...) and is pretty hissy by modern standards. Put it through the effects loop of your amp and it hisses a lot less...but still hisses. I've no idea what these go for, but I know some people here really love their effects.
