Just a different 5 to play though aint it Mart? I dont like Fender Jazz 5's and the stuff in my want list is only possible by selling both SR4's which is after last night practice and a few disco classics being thrown in the set list not going to happen The 3 EQ's cant touch the pre EB for Chic and stuff its so good honestly, It does get a little lost in some mixes live which I guess was the reason for the 3 EQ in the first place but when it finds its place its like no other bass not even a newer 2 band!

What trades could I go for then folks for the value give or take £100ish either way for a 2002 Ray? (going to be around £700 if I decide to do it)

Sell the jazz 4, p bass and 2002 ray, keep the pre-EB ray and SR5, get a custom Jazz 5 string. Job done. Unless you're doing motown covers, the jazz will make a p-bass-ish enough sound for gigging esp. if you get a parametric eq installed.

A window shopping trip to see if I'm missing anything is on the cards I think CK, The Jazz I have really is worth more to me than I could sell it for and is the only bass I can use for lending at jam nights or rough pubs. So that's definitely staying, The pre EB as you know from your own is ace so that is now staying. That only leaves the 02 SR4 for trade/sale? Maybe I should save up a grand or more to put to the Ray4 deal and buy something off my wish list next year? Do I need that many basses? Do I need a combined gear outlay of around £8'000? I guess your not the guy to answer that CK! :)

Pre EB is very safe again :)
I have not been able to read notes for long but the proper bass line compared to what I (used to) and many others jam over it is awesome once you pick it open, Mucho respect for the Bernard :)

Next on the list Car Wash..........(they must of been reading this thread?)

Its alright and very GB Spitfire to my eyes, He wants a trade only and for 5's only, No sales or trades for 4's.
