thedarxide Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I picked up a Vintage Stingray, it's got three knobs, and one pickup. I'd assume 1xvol and 1x tone, but what's the third one for? to be honest, apart from the vol, the other two seem to do very little. I briefly had a look at the wiring but nothing jumped out at me.... Although, that's a plan..... Quote
thedarxide Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 I took it apart again, it's wired as vol, tone, tone. Although the cap was broken off the second tone knob. What would the effect of running one tone control into another be? I'm probably not going to bother fixing it, i'll wire it like an OLP. Quote
