grenadilla
I thought the pickups on John Entwistle's old 60's Thunderbirds were "soapbar" { like P-90 guitar pickups ] . He sure got some fierce bite= like a crocodile !! Whatever; Thunderbird pickups are scarce and pricey.
how bout this: http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649
That looks too big for a Thunderbird pickup. More like something for a modern Les Paul bass.
TPTroll
I'd like to jump in an revive this thread if possible. Does anyone in the UK do Thunderbird pickups, chrome or otherwise, for £100 or less than? The Mike Lull stuff does look good but is just a bit pricey to be honest. Thanks
