THUNDERBIRD PICKUPS.

I thought the pickups on John Entwistle's old 60's Thunderbirds were "soapbar" { like P-90 guitar pickups ] . He sure got some fierce bite= like a crocodile !! Whatever; Thunderbird pickups are scarce and pricey.

Sorry but those look horrible IMO Thunderbird pickups and hardware should always be chrome.

That looks too big for a Thunderbird pickup. More like something for a modern Les Paul bass.

I'd like to jump in an revive this thread if possible.

Does anyone in the UK do Thunderbird pickups, chrome or otherwise, for £100 or less than? The Mike Lull stuff does look good but is just a bit pricey to be honest.
