grenadilla Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I thought the pickups on John Entwistle's old 60's Thunderbirds were "soapbar" { like P-90 guitar pickups ] . He sure got some fierce bite= like a crocodile !! Whatever; Thunderbird pickups are scarce and pricey. Quote
how bout this: http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649
That looks too big for a Thunderbird pickup. More like something for a modern Les Paul bass. Quote
TPTroll Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I'd like to jump in an revive this thread if possible. Does anyone in the UK do Thunderbird pickups, chrome or otherwise, for £100 or less than? The Mike Lull stuff does look good but is just a bit pricey to be honest. Thanks Quote
