TRBboy
If it's strictly between a P and J, I'd say go for a jazz and stick some Dimarzio Ultra Jazz in! They're SOOO punchy and powerful, but defined and articulate too. Loads of guts, but they really cut through the mix too. If you're open to other options, I would go for anything you like the feel of that's loaded with MM humbucker(s). Try a Sandberg if you get chance........ Kein engel
Yup, digging up a old thread but.... When touring I use a peavey millenum 5 and a jazz copy, although I run effects quite hard I find they do the job best
White Cloud
I've got no idea what "industrial rock" is
Goodness gracious!?!? You need to watch this dude. http://youtu.be/Hreqn9j3PHI
Ticktock
My, this thread is old. No matter. I used a hohner jack when I played in an industrial rock band ( we never would have used that term to describe ourselves though.) so....a jazz then?!? RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Bass player from cop shoot cop, used to use a mustang with competition stripes. Can't remember offhand, what ministry /Rammstein bassists use. Imho, you can't go wrong with a headless, or something nice and pointy;)
Bolo
Paul Barker of Ministry 90's era I think: [Img]http://www.hollowbodybass.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/barker2.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> Bassplayer on last year's comeback tour was playing a fenderbird through a marshall head iirc.
