Old Horse Murphy
For trade is a superb Fender 51 Reissue P Bass in stunning 2 tone sunburst. It's in superb condition (1 small ding on the lower horn not through the paint) and weighs approximately 8lbs, so super-light too. It comes with fitted ashtray covers (the pickup cover isn't screwed down in the first pic so may look a bit wonky!), a Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickup and a Fender USA Deluxe bridge (allowing for through-body and bridge string loading). These bridges are retro-fit and require alteration for installation. It has a nice, fast, low action. It sounds wonderful too! These extras cost a fair bit but I think are great additions to the bass. Price is: £540 inc the SD Antiquity pickup plus the original pickup £520 with the SD Antiquity pickup £490 for original pickup £20 P&P including insurance Thanks for looking Edited August 25, 2011 by Old Horse Murphy
tredders
I just bought a butterscotch 51 Re-issue from OHM, and it was immaculate. This one looks ace with those upgrades - good luck with trading it.
Old Horse Murphy
Bump- would consider p/x's for a decent Envelope Filter, Octaver and /or a well-estsblished pedalboard Or an Acoustic Bass
karlfer
Always loved the look/sound of these and this one looks superb. What has always put me off in the past was the horrible bridges. Top upgrade OHM, far too tempting . Karl.
