vintage
Legendary Rickenbacker bass model made famous by Paul McCartney, John Entwistle, Roger Waters, Bruce Foxton, Lemmy and many others. This 4001 has a stereo output and a a subtle red fireglo finish (darker on the outside than the inside) with white edges. The neck is perfectly straight, no fret wear. It was manufactured in August of 1978 and has been serviced. £1,490 I am based in the Midlands but often in Birmingham, London, Coventry, Leicester etc so I am pretty flexible. clarkpegasus4001
That's a more than fair price for a 1978 Ricky. Good luck with the sale Mr."vintage"
the hen
This bass is not a 1978 model, I'd date it as 1974 4001 as it has the 1/2" neck pickup spacing. From 1975 onwards, RIC started to iimplement the full 1" spacing. Do you have the serial number to hand?
