Guest MoJo Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 (edited) Had a good think about this one and I've decided that the Ric is not the one for me. Only a few months old. Never been gigged. The action is nice and low and she plays beautifully. Comes with the original Ric hardcase, polishing cloth (unused) and tools. Bridge cover has been removed and replaced with deluxe pick-up surround which incorporates a thumb rest but original cover can be replaced or just sent with the bass. Currently strung with Rotosounds but will include original (hardly played) Ric strings. Looking for £1450 or may consider trading for Precision, Jazz or Stingray of similar value P6040003 by markmojo, on Flickr Edited September 1, 2011 by bassman2790
Stag Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Beautiful! I love my 4003, same year etc. I dont really play my P that much.... but I dont think I need two 4003's though...
Cairobill Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Try it with thomastik flats and play it with a pick is my prescription. That is a gorgeous bass.
Guest MoJo Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 It is a gorgeous looking bass and I'm have an awful feeling I might regret letting this one go (as I did with my Guild B302A )
Stag Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Im glad you have! Give it time.... these new Rics are truly excellent basses.
