The first one i thought was just the sort of playing that has put me off from going to bass day ever again. I thought the second one fitted in a lot better with the music which is good. Quote

risingson Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Not my thing, the first video was typical YT slap and the second he slapped all over one of my favourite tunes of 2007. On the Chrome Streamer front, I've played a few of them and they look and sound outrageous! Very special and unique sounding instruments are Warwicks, but I'll just never completely agree with them. Good playing but nothing that stands out, though I have heard a lot more ear bleeding material! As for the bass? I love them, my mate has one (214of500 is his BC name). [/quote] Hey dude, i've seen a couple of your posts about that silver bass It was a loan bass from warwick, I thought it looked like a decent stage bass for that band I was doing at the time (New Device) We had a music video coming up and I thought the finish would look "good" for the video :-S I only had this bass for 4 months, and it is not something i would buy for myself..........not that I can afford warwicks prices they are offering me. I can understand that it might look good with proper lighting, that working men's club we played to a group of pensioners wasn't really the right setting for something so flashy though haha. Quote

But those pensioners had a glint in their eye, I could tell they wanted to get down! MAYBE we just weren't heavy enough for them????? Definately a gig we won't forget in a hurry! ha ha Quote
