Pickup Sponges

Im working on ANOTHER p-bass project. THis time is just a completely blank body. I have all the bits apart from the sponge/foam blocks that go under the pickups to push the pole peices thru the pickup covers. Do they actually sell these as a custom product or do people just use pan-scourers and the like? Never had to put new pickups into a body that didnt have any that i was replacing so ive always just nicked it off the old pickups.

I know you can get some for Jazz pups from Fender, so I'm sure they make Precision ones too. I've used a cut-up mouse mat before, and it worked great.

You can try a length of hose. I use it and it works pretty well.
