cd_david
Hello Does anyone own one of these 215s? I heard one years ago and remember it was a huge sound, huge box, but still a huge sound. I would love to try one, I have an HH 412 and its a great cab, I used to have the older 215 without the scoop but it was very quiet and muffled and a disappointing sound. Cheers Dave
steve-soar
Wow! My very first speaker cab. 129 lbs? No way! Sold it and got a Peavey 2x15 Black Widow cab. Now that's a cab.
Bassman Rich
I used to have 2 of the HH BL215's, the ones with the small ports at the side (they stood up, one driver above the other) and had a clip on front wooden cover. They originally had some really naff sounding 30 watt (prob the bees knees at the time) celestion drivers in, which I swapped out for some of unknown make (probably Fane) 100 watters from DC Boulton, just off maningham lane in Bradford around 1985, I thought they sounded great, never had any difficulty keeping up with loud drummers and marshall stacks, using only a 50 watt Marshall valve amp
