dmz
This is an e-bay purchase from Japan a couple of years ago, a model OPB51-105SD - so has the Seymour Duncan pickup [attachment=6355:51PB1.jpg] [attachment=6356:51PB2.jpg] Strung with Thomastick flats - maybe could do with a bridge cover, a pickup cover and a finger rest ? The neck is gorgeous - nice and chunky and sounds surprisingly funky with roundwounds - but - I bought it for some good old fashioned thump and it delivers big time with the flats. paul, the
You have such a brilliant taste in tone. What do you think is the best bass you've owned? (In all respects)
dmz
Changes every other week ! At the moment its the Japanese P-bass with the blocks and dark stars........I just love the neck - very playable and comfortable. I have a Lakland 55-01 NTMB (black with maple fingerboard) which is very comfortable too - just wish it had 24-frets sometimes.
