Big Muff Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 (edited) This cab was built for me by a friend a few years ago. Unfortunately I haven't been using it much as I should and it's taking up space. The dust cap has some denting but it doesn't affect the sound. Would be an ideal cab to put a new speaker in. 150W 15 Ohm 1979 Celestion G15-150 15" Speaker (Dust cap is dented - see pics) Height: 620mm Width: 500mm Depth: 450mm Single 1/4" jack input Recessed handles and Orange style skid feet on both sides. Weighs around 20kg. [s]£60[/s] [s]£40 £20 collection from Oxford.[/s] SOLD Edited October 30, 2011 by Big Muff
Pete Turton Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Try getting a drinking straw and place gently over the dented dust cover and carefully suck - it might work!
Monckyman Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Get a sewing needle, gently stick it in the cap and bend it back to an angle, the pull gently, it`ll pull the dents out.
Mr. Foxen Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Suck it out with the hoover nozzle, taking care not to pull out the whole cone.
Big Muff Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 Price drop to £40 Moving house so needs to go!
Monckyman Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Yes, but did you suck it out with the hoover nozzle?
